The deep fountain jar is 10″ (25.4 cm) deep with a 3-1/2 qt (3.3 L) capacity. Fountain jars are notched to allow the lid to close over a ladle for increased sanitation. The fountain jars are constructed of high-impact Polypropylene. They also have three exclusive features: rear tabs with holes to allow a sanitary hinged lid (#242796) to attach to the jar, molded feet to prevent tipping, and side slots for use with hinged lid (#242798).
