The shallow fountain jar is 7″ (19 cm) deep with a 2 quart (1.9 L) capacity. Fountain jars are notched to allow the lid to close over a ladle for increased sanitation. The fountain jars are constructed of high-impact Polypropylene. They also have three exclusive features: rear tabs with holes to allow a sanitary hinged lid (#242796) to attach to the jar, molded feet to prevent tipping, and side slots for use with hinged lid (#242798).
